Thank you card...

Hello,

Good day to you. Here I am with another card using Altenew 'Beautiful day' stamp set. I have used a pink and grey color combination inspired by the picture for August Inspiration challenge at Altenew blogspot.

I am addicted to water coloring and Zig Clean Color brush pens are my favorite.

I stamped the image on white CS and heat set it with clear embossing powder. Did a quick coloring with Zig clean color brush pens  and die cut the images. Inked the edges with shades of grey ink and splattered black, pink and yellow colors. Layered the card with grey CS and added few pink enamel dots to finish of the card.

Masking and Stamp highlighting

Hii!

Today I want to share few techniques I used in making this card. I was inspired by Kelly Latevola's post about rainbow coloring.

 I took two panels of white card stock of different sizes. I stuck the smaller panel temporarily and stamped the first flower image. I masked the flower and stamped the other images. I then removed the smaller panel and colored the back ground image in different shades of grey only where it will be visible. I colored the smaller panel with colors in a rainbow. I stamped the sentiment and highlighted it with white gel pen. Adhered the smaller panel to the base, matching the design and finished it off with few sequins.
I used Zig Clean Color brush pens to color the images.
The stamp is 'Zinnia' from Mudra stamps

Sympathy card

Hi there,

I made a simple sympathy card. Kept the colors muted and pastel shades. I have usd the Peony scrolls stamp from Altenew.

I colored the image with zig color pens. added the same colors for a background diluted with water. Added a few sequins and splattered a bit of black color.
