Wedding cards.

Hello friends,

January and February were busy months, attending weddings and making cards for the occasion. I made a couple of cards that I couldn't share before using Mintay papers - 'Dreamer' paper collection.

Here is the first card:

This card my color palette was more of purple and pink. I fussy cut a few elements from the pack and layered it. I added die-cuts with Fantasy dies and decorated with my handmade flowers. Here are more pics

Here is the second card:

For this card, the color was more of blue. I decorated with fussy cut elements, die-cuts using Fantasy dies and my handmade flowers.

I had two scrap pieces of the paper and used it on the inner panel and added a dies cut at the overlapping edge.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy crafting!

Believe in Magic

Hello,

Today I am sharing a card as my DT project for Bob N Betty, using the recently launched paper pack - 'Believe in Magic'. The paper collection is absolutely gorgeous with cute unicorn images, element sheets, tag and sentiment sheets.

I layered different papers and stitched around the edges. I added fussy cut elements and the sentiment from the paper pack. I added glitter and a few clear drops to finish off my card.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time, have fun crafting!

Valentine card for DT post

Hello,

Today I am sharing a card I made using the 'Bella and Benji' digi stamp from Conie Fong, as my DT inspiration post.

I colored the image with copics and polychromos pencils from Faber Castell. I then fussy cut the image.

I created the layout for the card using papers from Bob N Betty (India). I added chipboard pieces below the image to get a 3D effect. I added few sequins on the heart and decorated the card with my handmade flowers and some die cuts.

Here are a few more pictures:

Hope you liked my card. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy Crafting!

DT call for Fantasy Dies Flower girl

Hello,

I am Gayatri, from India. Mother two young men and a homemaker. I started crafting around 7 years back and started with quilling. I came across many videos on YouTube about flower making and was fascinated to try. And now all my projects are embellished with my own handmade flowers and filler flowers. I love making them and recently I have started making them with foamiran also.

Here are a few of my creations.

DT Call for Fantasy Dies

Hello,
I am Gayatri from India. I am a homemaker and a proud mother of two boys. I worked as a teacher in a school for a brief period of 5 years. I have been crafting whenever I used to get time when my boys were young. Now that they are grown into men, I am a full-time crafter. I love making cards, scrapbook album, decoupage and coloring. I have tried a bit into mixed media and scrapbook layouts.

I love adding layers and die cuts to my projects. I love the dies from Fantasy Dies, since they are delicate and have beautiful designs. I own a few them and have to say that they cut so well. Just love them.
It would be a dream come true if I get a chance to be part of the Design Team. It will be an opportunity to learn and get inspired by other members and experiment with new ideas.

Here some of my recent projects:

I hope you liked a few of my creations.

DT post for Mini Album Makers Challenge

Hello crafty peeps,

I am thrilled to be part of Mini album Maker Challenge team. I love creating mini albums and this opportunity will help me try new things and also journals. So here I am with inspiration for the February Challenge.

For my first project, I have made a mini scrapbook album, measuring 7.5 inches x 5.5 inches. It has four pocket pages measuring 7 inches x 5 inches, with flaps and tuck in spots for journaling tags.

I have used the paper pack 'Love Letters' from Mintay papers. here are some pictures of the album.

Back cover of the album.

Here is a brief description of how I made it.

I took medium weight chipboard pieces measuring 7.5 inches x 5.5 inches and another piece measuring 2.5 inches by 5.5 inches for the spine. I added red tacky tape around the edges and also tyvec strips at the hinges for strength.
Tip: Add double strips of tacky tape at the hinges for more strength since this part is used more.

I covered the chipboard with ivory-colored cardstock.

For the hinge, I took a cardstock measuring 6.5 inches by 5 inches. I trim down the 5 inches a sliver so that the pockets can fit easily. I have made a hidden hinge for the album. I generally leave only a quarter of an inch as wings on both ends. So I scored 1/4 of an inch first and scored every half an inch up to 6 1/4, so that you get 4 hinges with half an inch gusset between them. I added the pocket sleeves and flaps.

Here is a walkthrough of the album:

Hope you like my project. Do check the wonderful inspiration from other DT members of the Mini Album Makers Challenge HERE and participate in the February Challenge.
