Sharing Handmande Kindness

I made this card to cheer up someone who is suffering from cancer. Even though I don't know her personally, I felt I should try my best to brighten up her day by sharing my handmade card.

I colored the flowers with Zig clean color brush pens and layered with Spellbinder dies.
Inner panel I stamped a wonderful sentiment and a butterfly. I also added a personal message.

Hope this cheers her up!

Peacock theme

I had made quilled peacock feather on tags. My third attempt as a center piece for this card. I layered the peacock feather to give a recessed window effect and covered it with an acetate sheet. I used Heartfelt Creations dies for flowers.

The inner panel is stamped with HFC Peacock paisley stamp, colored with copics and cut with coordinating die. The feathers are also from the same collection.

Hope you liked my card. Thanks for stopping by.

White and Gold is royal..

One more special card ...

I love Heartfelt Creations Blossoms Corner die. It's delicate and gorgeous. I wanted to create a card all in white. So made the flowers in white and the leaves too. But I didn't find it appealing on a dry run.

So I decided to emboss the die cut in gold. I applied Versamark Ink and embossed with ranger Gold Tinsel embossing powder. I colored the pollen and pearl on the sentiment with Krylon Gold leaf pen and stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold to go with the color scheme.

Hope you liked my card. Ty for stopping by.

Glitter and sparkle

Hello everyone,

Here is a card I made with a completely different color combination. Green and yellow!
I made a flip card with Spellbinders die following Christina Griffiths tutorial. The inner panel I stamped and heat embossed with Natural Shimmer Embossing glitter from WOW.

The sentiment on the inner panel is given more sparkle with white stones.

I embellished the card with hand made flowers, lace and pearls. Hope you like it.

Scrapbook album

Hello everyone,

It's a long time since I wrote in my blog. Though I have been making cards I couldn't write about them. Anyway I tried something new this time.

It has been a long time wish to try my hand in making a scrapbook album. I scanned YouTube and found Scrapbook Maven's tutorials easy to follow. Here's my twist to it.

This is an album for a boy as a gift for his first birthday. The pictures are hand drawn and colored with water color pencils and Zig Clean clear brush pens.

I made interactive pages and tags for penning the memories down.

Here is a link to the video of the album .
