Retirement card

Hello everyone!

Here is my entry for Cardabilities challenge # 123 based on the sketch.

The card I made was for a lady retiring this month. The flowers are handmade.

The tag was created with Elizabeth Craft Designs. I added a  Memory Box die cut and added red butterflies (cut with same die) to add color and dimension.

The inner panel I drew and colored a picture I came across on net to suit the occasion.

Hope you liked my creation. Thank you for stopping by.

Cheers!

Hi everyone!

My entry for Cardabilities challenge # 122. The card is based on this sketch.

I matted and layered cream cardstock with beige cardstock and design paper. I matted and layered again with cream and beige cardstock at the centre. I cut a circle and inked it with distress ink and added Catalina wreath die cut on the edge. The flowers are handmade and I added two die cuts of Fanciful flourish from Cheery Lynn and foliage die cuts from Spellbinders.

Sping time

Hello everyone,

Here is another congratulatory card. I have tried making handmade flowers with Heartfelt Creations dies and matching stamps. I have used Arianna Blooms and Majestic Blooms dies. I have used the Arianna lace die for a delicate touch, a few sprigs of leaves and pollen sticks. I added colorful flowers to mark spring time.
I have added a golden butterfly die cut to go with the layer used in the card.

Handmade cards

Hello friends,

Here is another handmade card.

I used cream cardstock and layered with green paper. I used a pattern paper from Eno Greetings 'Happy Birthday' designer series for the final layer. I have used strips of punched green and pink papers to line a strip of embossed cream card stock layered with a pink lace on the side.
I added quilled flowers and leaves to decorate the card. To give a delicate touch I have added a die cut from Heartfelt Creations - Scalloped Posy, inked with pink and green to match the color scheme.

The pattern paper has a bird which I highlighted by giving a 3D effect. I cut the paper from another sheet and shaped it with Hearfelt Creations tools and just added a dab of ink and stuck with foam tapes.

Here is another view to see the 3D effect of the bird.

Playing with dies

Hello everyone,
Here is a card I created recently. And this is my first attempt in making paper flowers with Heartfelt Creations dies. I used chalk ink to color the flowers.

I used A2 bracket border from Spellbinders to create the edges on the layers. The yellow decorative lace was created by the border die in Spellbinders Asian Accents. I cut two dies and overlapped them. The sentiment is also cut with circular die in Asian accents.
For the flowers I used Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms and Majestic Morning flower dies.  The leaves are using the Spellbinders Foliage die. I added few flourishing vine die from Arianna Lace set by Heartfelt Creations, below the flowers to give a delicate look.

I added a cute Tilda image, stamped and colored with watercolor pencils. I embellished the sentiment with pearls.

Hope you like my card. I am entering this card for Challenge #13 DIE - namic card by Kraftzone.

Happy crafting.

Thinking of you

Hello everyone,
Blue is my favorite color and I love working with intricate dies. Here is what I came up with.....
A double panel card with 'Thinking of You' sentiments.

For the front panel I took 11" long and 4.5" wide card stock and cut the end with Heartfelt creations Layered scalloped die and folded the ends to form a gatefold. Small flowers distressed with blue ink added to give a 3 dimensional touch on the decorative edges. The gatefold is held in place with a blue organza ribbon.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and decorated the panel with quilled flowers.

The second panel I used a contrast color - orange. This is a simple fold card with a cute Bildmalarna stamp ( From my Heart )- stamped and colored.

The side of inner panel has a pocket with Spellbinders Decorative corner die where a message is printed with a tag to add your personal message. The inner panel layer is distressed with blue ink and the corner die with orange and blue colors. The tags are also distressed with blue and tied with a blue organza ribbon.

The video shows the double panel of the card.
