Graphic 45 2018 Brand Ambassador Audition

Hi there,

I am sharing few projects made with Graphic 45 as part of audition to their call for Brand Ambassadors. Whew!!! Who wouldn't want to be part of their team??? It would be a dream come true !!
I totally love G45 papers and staples, may be I should say crazy about them. I drool over their papers and can spend time just flipping through them, the projects on Pinterest or those made by their brand ambassadors.
Let me introduce myself -
I am Gayatri from India, mother of two wonderful boys. I am a stay at home Mom and started paper crafting 4 years back. Once kids grow up and leave for further studies you are left alone with so much time at disposal. That's when I started crafting. My craze for G45 started  a year back, when I started collecting few paper packs. I love their colors and patterns and the possibility of fussy cutting!! OMG I love that since it is also stress buster.

Let me jump into my first project:

This is an upcycle project using empty tape rolls. I made a circular gift box.

I took two empty rolls for my project.

I took a strip of normal printer paper measuring 2 cm wide, and placed it around the roll to find out the length of paper required.

I drew a line around the outer edge to mark the lid and cut it across using a cutter. I used another empty roll for the base.

I sanded the edges to remove frayed edges and smoothen them

Traced the outer edge of the base and also the lid on a chipboard piece and cut them out.

I sanded the edges of chipboard and stuck it to the lid and the base.
Decorated with paper and embellishments and Voila!! a beautiful gift box is ready!

Remove the paper and sand the inner side of the lid so that it fits easily to the base while closing.

I used 'Vintage Hollywood' 8 x 8 paper pack. Here are few better pictures.

The next project is a mini scrapbook album measuring 7.5 x 5.5. I love making scrapbook albums. I have used the 'Fairie Dust' paper pack, ephemera cards and chipboard embellishments for this project. I have used few papers of 'Midnight Masquerade' as I ran out of papers and I didn't want to waste my tag sheet (grin...). I am sharing few pictures and video of flip through the album.

Here is a video of the flip through of the album.

You can watch it Youtube here

Hope you liked both my projects.

I made a few desk organizers with G45 papersand check it out here, also a baby girl album

Favorite color combo

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card I made recently as inspiration for Southern Girls Challenge this month.
I have used papers from DCWV Coral Couture for my card. I love the color combination in the paper pack especially the corals and green combo. I embellished the card with my handmade flowers and added two fussy cut butterflies.

This is a twist and pop-up card. I added photos on the pop - up panels.

Oval Easel card

Hello,

Today I am sharing an easel card I made using Conie Fong digi image - 'Susie Sunshine'

I colored the image using copics and fussy cut it. I prepared the easel card base and layered it with pattern paper. I added an oval doily die cut and popped the image with foam tape.

On the inside I added smaller oval doily layered with card stock and pattern paper. I popped it slightly with thin foam tape.

To finish I added few handmade flowers and pollens. You can shop the digi here:

Money Envelope.

Hello,

I am sharing a money envelope I made recently , using 'Hydrangea Lawns' pattern paper from 'Dress My Craft'.

I made a shaker window on the front using heart shaped nesting dies.

I fussy cut flowers and birds from the coordinating motif sheet. The sentiment also I cut from the sheet. I filled the shaker window with shaker elements from 'Dress My Craft'.

On the back side flap I added fancy strings from an old wedding card, as closure.

On the inside I made a pocket to keep the money and added a magnet on the pocket to hold the coin, since it is our custom to add 1₹ coin to make the amount odd numbered.

I added a tag for personal message and a sentiment to wish the young married couple.

Materials used:

Shaker elements: Crystal Blue Sequins

Pop it up with foam

Hello,

I am sharing today a birthday card I made recently. I have used Graphic 45 pattern papers.

I cut an oval frame and popped it up with foam tape. I layered the oval window with pattern paper and added few fussy cut flowers. I added foam tape below the fussy cut images to give a dimensional effect.

I added my handmade flowers and die cuts on the panel. I added few crystal drops inside the oval panel too.

I layered the inner panel with pattern paper and made a small corner pocket for message tag.

Hope you like my card which is my DT Inspiration for Southern Girls Challenge. The challenge for this month is 'Pop it up with foam'.
