Christmas Shaker Ornament

Hello friend,

I recently made a shaker Christmas ornament using star-shaped dies.

I cut several frames of the star die and stuck them to get the depth. I like to use cardstock rather than foam adhesive since they are sticky and the shaker elements tend to get stuck to the foam adhesive. I added the acetate sheet and die cut a pattern paper and added pattern paper at the back too. I added the shaker elements and sealed it.

I fussy cut a few elements from Mintay papers 'Home for Christmas' paper pack. and decorated with a golden ribbon and attached a thread for hanging.

Hope you liked my project. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy Crafting!

DT post for Conie Fong

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card I made using Conie Fong's image 'Floral Garden', as my DT post

I printed the image on grayscale since I wanted to do no-line coloring. I colored each flower and leaf with copic marker using the lightest shade. I then worked on with Faber Castell Polychromos.

This picture was taken from my mobile, so the colors are not sharp. I layered the image with red cardstock and added it to the cardbase. I added a few clear drops and crystal drops. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum and added it to the card.

Hope you liked my card. You can find the digital image I used here:

Christmas Blessing - Conie Fong DT post

Hello,

At last I started my christmas cards. Here is my first one using Conie Fong digi stamp - 'Christmas Blessings'

I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted with Polychromos pencils.

I layered the image onto a red cardstock. I die cut few snowflakes using the dies from Crafters Companion and added Sparkling dust from DressMy Craft.

I layered a white card base with pattern papers from Mintay Paper pack - 'Sweetest Christmas'. To finish I added a golden ribbon and a bow.

Hope you liked my card. You can find the digi image here

Bob n Betty DT post featuring 'Caffe Romaza'

Hello,

Today I am sharing an explosion box made using the paper pack - 'Caffe Romaza'

The box measures 4" x 4 ". It is a single layered explosion box. Only two flaps open and the other two are joined to create a corner.

I fussy images from the paper pack and created a cafe scene inside. I used acetate sheet to support these fussy cut images.

I added a pocket on one flap and flip page on the other flap.

I decorated the cover with handmade flowers and fussy cut elements.

Here is a video of the Explosion Box :

More cards with Altenew stamps.

Hello,

Here are more cards I made using stamps from Altenew. I love Altenew stamps since the images are quite big and this makes it easy for coloring. Today I have used Peony Bouquet and Beautiful Peony stamps in my cards.

I have used Zig Real Brush pens for coloring. I used Canson Montval papers which is good for water coloring.

Here are my cards:

Thank you or stopping by. Have a great day!

Till next time - Happy crafting!

Colored vellum flowers.

Hello again,

Here I am sharing another card I made using Altenew stamp - Wild Hibiscus.

I stamped the images on vellum and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I colored on the reverse side with Copic markers and fussy cut the images.

I diecut two pieces of white cardstock with the Altenew Mid Century Frame die, and stuck them to get a sturdier and dimensional effect.
I smooshed some distress ink on white cardstock to create a background and layered it with pink cardstock and stuck them on the card base. I arranged the flowers and leaves on the frame die and finished off with few clear drops and splatter of black paint.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy crafting!!
