Today I am sharing a Z-fold card. The card size is 8 1/4" x 5 3/4". I checked YouTube for videos on Z fold card and all the cards were A5 size. I wanted to make an A4 one, so I tweaked the measurements.
The card base I used pink card stock and layered it with white card stock and pattern paper from Bob n Betty - 'Feel Like a Butterfly'. This is one of my favorite paper pack.
I decorated the central Z fold with handmade peonies and filler flowers. I fussy cut a butterfly and added foam tape under the wings for 3D effect.
I was requested to add a photograph of the recipient. So I added this on inner fold of Z. I printed the sentiment and foiled it with my Minc. I added two tags on the inner panels for writing personal message.
A spread view of the card with the tags. before I added the smalled Z fold I made a tag pocket on the inner panel.
I made a matching box cover. Since all my cards are dimensional I always make a matching box cover.
Today I want to share a birthday card I made recently. I used 'Hydrangea Lawn' pattern paper from Dress My Craft. This is a beautiful collection of papers and I have been wanting to use it. And I was able to use it at last!! and here is my card..
I layered my white card base with purple and white cardstock and the pattern paper. I die cut the edges of the card stock and the pattern paper, with Spellbinders border dies.
I made purple colored flowers using Cheery Lynn 'Sweet Williams' die and filler flowers using dies from Elizabeth Craft Design. I arranged the flowers and added few leaves and die cuts, also added few fussy cut butterflies from the paper pack. I added a doily, cut with Prima 'Crochet Doily' die. I also added a triple loop bow. The sentiment was heat embossed and die cut with fish tail banner die and embellished with enamel dots.
On the inner panel I added a corner pocket with one my favorite HFC die. I foiled the message on the inner panel and layered it with card creator dies from Spellbinders. I added a tag in the corner pocket, cut using tag die, for writing special personal message. Hope you are able to make it out since it is camouflaged with the background (lol).
To finish, I made a box for the card and decorated with fussy cut images and sentiment from the paper set.
Hope you like my card. Thank you for visiting. Your love and opinion means a lot to me. So do leave a message.
I am so happy to announce that I am part of Design Team for Southern Girls Challenge Blog. We have new challenge for the new year - Stitching - Faux or Real.
I resized and printed the image and colored it with Zig Color Brush pens.
I took a black card base and layered it with pattern paper from my scrap stash. I layered the image also with black card stock. I added two fish tail banner die cuts. I printed the sentiment and layered that also with black card stock. I finished of my card with few black and golden sequins on the sentiment banner.

I am currently a DT member for
Graciellie Design (ending in Jan)
Conie Fong. (ending in Jan)
Southern Girls Challenge Group.
I am a mother of two boys and a stay at home Mom. I started my paper crafting with making quilled cards for my friends and relatives. I later started using die cuts (I love my Sizzix Big Shot) and making layered cards. I love making scrapbook albums. I love playing with pattern papers in my cards and making my own flowers. I try to be perfect in my creations because of which I spend at least two days in planning alone about the layout and color combinations.
I would like to share a few of my creations.
Created for Graciellie Design using a digi image and PP from Indian company - Bob n Betty
A trifold album using PP from Bob n Betty. Fussy cut butterfly from another paper pack.
A tag using Graphic 45 papers for which I won a gift hamper from Graphic 45. I love fussy cutting.
A box card with handmade flowers.
A hexagonal explosion box using pattern paper by another Indian company - Nakshathra Designz, for which I was DT.
An easel card with box, tags for personal messages.
A center stepper card, with fussy cut layering and handmade flowers.
I cannot stop myself from sharing one more creation for Conie Fong
My another passion is coloring especially with copic markers.
I will like to share a video of a scrapbook album I made for Nakshathra Designz
My resolution for 2018 is to try my hand in Mixed Media .
