Sally's Christmas Friends - DT post

Hello,

I have a DT Inspiration post for Conie Fong, using the Digi - 'Sally's Christmas Friends'.

I colored the image with Copic markers. I always give a final touch of shading with Polychromos for adding depth.

I prepared a card base 6 " x 6" and layered it with pattern paper from Mintay paper - 'Home for Christmas'. I trimmed the image and layered it with red cardstock. I added a few fussy cut elements from the paper pack and die cuts.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Stay safe and enjoy crafting!

DT post for Conie Fong Art

Hello,

Here is my DT inspiration card for Conie Fong, using the 'Flutterby Daisy' image.

I printed the image on 300gsm Bielo Card stock. I love to use this paper for Copic coloring. Neenah Solar white Card stock is also good. I printed from a Canon Pixma G3000 printer. It is an inkjet printer but if you let the print out dry for some time or heat set it, there is no bleeding while using copics.

I colored with Copics and used Faber Castell Polychromos pencil for darker shading.

I layered a card base with pattern paper from my stash and added a few of my handmade foamiran flowers and dies cuts. I added the sentiment on the card and to finish off a few enamel dots and a die cut butterfly. Here are a few more pictures of the card.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time, stay safe and healthy and craft more.

Rain shaker card

Hello ,

Today I am sharing a card made as DT inspiration for Conie Fong using the image - 'Kissed by an Angel'

I colored the image with copic markers and fussy cut it.

I created panels for a rain shaker card and assembled it. I inked using distress inks and added a splatter of white color. Last I sprayed Shimmer spritz. I added a die cut which I inked as well colored using copic markers. The sentiment is from La La Land Crafts. I did not have the stamp. So I printed and added to the card.

Holly's Purrfect Christmas

Hello!

This will be my last post for this year.... how quickly days pass by. Time to say goodbye to 2019 and welcome 2020!!!
So here is another card made as DT inspiration for Conie Fong using her digi - 'Holly's Purrfect Christmas'

As usual, I colored with copic markers and shaded with Polychromos pencils. I love this method since I can create fine shading details.

I layered the image with green cardstock and added to a 6" x 6" top fold panel. I added dies cuts using Fantasy dies and a handmade poinsettia flower. I added some sparkle dust on the flower. A Christmas card cannot be complete without a little sparkle.

Hope you liked my card. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year.

Till we meet next year - Happy crafting!

Hello,
Merry Christmas to all!
All of you would be making cards for Christmas and here I am with my DT inspiration card for Conie Fong using her digital image 'Snowy with Poinsettia'. I colored the image with Copic markers and gave shading with Polychromos color pencils. I added a few spots with a white gel pen to give an effect of snow falling.

I layered an A4 size card with pattern paper and decorated it with die cuts using Fantasy border dies and fussy cut elements from Mintay Paper collection - Home for Christmas'. I added a few snowflakes die cuts also.

Some close up shots for you. I inked lightly and added glitter on the snowflakes.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy Crafting!!

Colored vellum flowers.

Hello again,

Here I am sharing another card I made using Altenew stamp - Wild Hibiscus.

I stamped the images on vellum and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I colored on the reverse side with Copic markers and fussy cut the images.

I diecut two pieces of white cardstock with the Altenew Mid Century Frame die, and stuck them to get a sturdier and dimensional effect.
I smooshed some distress ink on white cardstock to create a background and layered it with pink cardstock and stuck them on the card base. I arranged the flowers and leaves on the frame die and finished off with few clear drops and splatter of black paint.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy crafting!!

Whimsical Wonders.... DT post for Conie Fong

Hello,

It is a long time since I colored and my DT post for Conie Fong was long pending. Change of residence, settling down had me occupied and now I am back to my crafting and today I have used one of the images from the set 'Crystal Fairy'. I have used the image without crystals.

I have always loved stories about fairies and goblins. When as a kid, I was always immersed in such whimsical and mystical stories and even used to fantasize meeting them. Dark forests, small fairies with glittering wings and magical dust, making our dreams come true....... I read somewhere "Sometimes we need to survive the reality". How true! So let me get to reality and share how I created my project 😃

I colored the image with copic markers and used Polychromos pencils for some shading. I lightly gave a background shading with Distress inks.

I created a Mixed Media Layout using the image. I have used Stamperia Papers 'Dream'. I added some stencilling and stamping in the background and used a few layers of papers. I also added a few chipboards embellishments and diecuts. I glued few sequins since a fairy is all glitter and magical. I cut a sentiment from the paper pack and adhered it with foam tape.

I finally added my handmade foamiran flowers and few butterflies which I fussy cut from some of the pattern papers in my stash.

Here is the final layout:

Hope you liked my Layout. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy Crafting!!
