Sunflower Gnome

 Hello,

Here is a slimline card I made as my DT inspiration for Conie Fong. I used the recent release 'Sunflower Gnome' image.

I printed my image and colored it with Copic markers. I used my Faber Castell Polychromos to add shadow and more color.

I trimmed the sheet to fit a slim line card. I created clouds with hand cut cloud stencil and distress ink. To finish off I added the sentiment from the image bundle.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy crafting!

Pencil coloring on colored cardstock

Hello,

I have been wanting to try pencil coloring on colored cardstock for a long time. This month's Altenew Challenge inspired me to try on grey colored cardstock. I have used Polychromos from Faber Castell for coloring.

For this card, I have used my all time favorite stamp set from Altenew - 'Magnolias For Her'.

I have used the rough side of the cardstock to get some tooth effect for pencil coloring. I stamped the image Versamark ink and heat embossed with Silver Pearl embossing powder from Ranger. I then colored using the polychromos. The sentiment is from the 'Bejeweled' stamp set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

To finish it I added a few enamel dots and splatter of white with a
gel pen. I layered the grey card stock with pink cardstock, just peeking out from one side. I then mounted it onto a card base.

Hope you like my card. Till next time - happy crafting and stay safe.

Happy Thoughts card

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card made with the gorgeous stamp set - Wallpaper art from Altenew. I have colored using polychromos pencils from Faber Castell and I have used Mi-Teintes paper from Canson

I stamped the image using antique linen distress ink and colored it with my polychromos. I added black dots with Copic multiliner to give a splattered look. I added the sentiment from the 'Beautiful Day' stamp set, with archival ink. I layered the paper with green cardstock and mounted on a card base.

Hope you liked my card. Thank you for visiting my blog. Till next time - Stay safe and happy crafting!

Holly's Purrfect Christmas

Hello!

This will be my last post for this year.... how quickly days pass by. Time to say goodbye to 2019 and welcome 2020!!!
So here is another card made as DT inspiration for Conie Fong using her digi - 'Holly's Purrfect Christmas'

As usual, I colored with copic markers and shaded with Polychromos pencils. I love this method since I can create fine shading details.

I layered the image with green cardstock and added to a 6" x 6" top fold panel. I added dies cuts using Fantasy dies and a handmade poinsettia flower. I added some sparkle dust on the flower. A Christmas card cannot be complete without a little sparkle.

Hope you liked my card. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year.

Till we meet next year - Happy crafting!

DT Post for Conie Fong

Hello,
Merry Christmas to all!
All of you would be making cards for Christmas and here I am with my DT inspiration card for Conie Fong using her digital image 'Snowy with Poinsettia'. I colored the image with Copic markers and gave shading with Polychromos color pencils. I added a few spots with a white gel pen to give an effect of snow falling.

I layered an A4 size card with pattern paper and decorated it with die cuts using Fantasy border dies and fussy cut elements from Mintay Paper collection - Home for Christmas'. I added a few snowflakes die cuts also.

Some close up shots for you. I inked lightly and added glitter on the snowflakes.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time - Happy Crafting!!

DT post for Conie Fong

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card I made using Conie Fong's image 'Floral Garden', as my DT post

I printed the image on grayscale since I wanted to do no-line coloring. I colored each flower and leaf with copic marker using the lightest shade. I then worked on with Faber Castell Polychromos.

This picture was taken from my mobile, so the colors are not sharp. I layered the image with red cardstock and added it to the cardbase. I added a few clear drops and crystal drops. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum and added it to the card.

Hope you liked my card. You can find the digital image I used here:

Whimsical Wonders.... DT post for Conie Fong

Hello,

It is a long time since I colored and my DT post for Conie Fong was long pending. Change of residence, settling down had me occupied and now I am back to my crafting and today I have used one of the images from the set 'Crystal Fairy'. I have used the image without crystals.

I have always loved stories about fairies and goblins. When as a kid, I was always immersed in such whimsical and mystical stories and even used to fantasize meeting them. Dark forests, small fairies with glittering wings and magical dust, making our dreams come true....... I read somewhere "Sometimes we need to survive the reality". How true! So let me get to reality and share how I created my project 😃

I colored the image with copic markers and used Polychromos pencils for some shading. I lightly gave a background shading with Distress inks.

I created a Mixed Media Layout using the image. I have used Stamperia Papers 'Dream'. I added some stencilling and stamping in the background and used a few layers of papers. I also added a few chipboards embellishments and diecuts. I glued few sequins since a fairy is all glitter and magical. I cut a sentiment from the paper pack and adhered it with foam tape.

I finally added my handmade foamiran flowers and few butterflies which I fussy cut from some of the pattern papers in my stash.

Here is the final layout:

Hope you liked my Layout. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy Crafting!!

Cute Bella with Sunflowers

Hello,

Today I am sharing my inspiration post with Conie Fong digi - 'Sunflower Bella'

I printed the image and colored it with Copics as well as Polychromos pencils. The sunflowers were so small that I could get the perfect coloring only with pencils. Bella I colored with copics.

I thought of putting down the image on a shabby chic card. So I used few pattern papers from Graphic 45 that matched with the color scheme. I added few doily die cuts, laces etc. I added few handmade flowers to finish my card.

Cute Snowy

Hello there,

Today I am sharing a card I made with the cute cute Conie Fong image - 'Snowy Delivering Presents'. I used this image as an inspiration for the ongoing July challenge 'Christmas in July'

I colored the image with copic markers and used Polychromos for highlighting at some areas and fussy cut it.

I created the background with Zig color pens on acetate sheet. I adhered the image and layered it with stitched scalloped frame. I layered a white card base with black card stock and G45 pattern paper. I adhered the image and added a ribbon at the bottom. Here are more pictures.

Hope you liked my card. Till next time....

Orange blooms.

I love the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set. It gives lots of freedom for coloring.

I stamped the image with Altenew Crisp dye ink Mango smoothie. Colored the image with Polychromos. Gave a coat with Wink of Stella Clear pen. Fussy cut the images. Stamped leaves with Altenew inks and cut them.

Took Neenah CS and inked it with yellow, blue and green distress inks for back ground. The color combination was inspired by the colors of the humming bird in the Fusion Card Challenge photo. Added die cut with MFT Dainty Scallop die.  Added an HFC border die cut on the side for a dainty look. Adhered the colored images with foam tape for 3D effect.

Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and distressed it and stuck it to the panel.

A closer view of the coloring.

I am entering this for the following challenges.
