Hooked

Hi there,

I am at Papericious blog today as a Guest Designer, sharing two projects using their paper pack 'Hooked'. The papers have gorgeous floral images for fussy cutting and I have done a few to embellish my projects.

Tunnel card

The card measures 8.5” x 5.5”. I created the base with Vanilla card stock and created the tunnel panels inside with the pattern papers.

I die cut circle windows for the tunnel effect. I fussy cut the floral patterns from the pack and adhered on the panels. I die cut one of the sentiments and adhered it in the center.

On the side panel I created a small pocket to hold a message tag. This piece I cut from the cover of the paper pack. I fussy cut a small bow and added it on the tag.

On the front panel I added two circle frames and die cuts at the corners. I added few of my handmade paper flowers I had in my stash.

Hope you liked my card. Here is a video of the card.

Magnetic bookmark

The book mark measures 6” x 3”. I created a flap and layered all the side with paper from the 6 x 6 paper pack.

Before layering I added magnets for closure. I added few die cuts and fussy cut some floral images.

I added a sentiment from the paper pack on the smaller flap. I added twine for the bookmark and adhered few die cut butterflies.

Here is a video of the bookmark:

Guest Designer at Papericious

Hi there,

I am so excited to share the news that I am a Guest Designer at Papericious. They brought out two Valentine themed papers in Feb and today I am showcasing the gorgeous 'I Love You' paper pack.
I have 3 projects to share.

Spinner card

Recently Jennifer McGuire had share a spinner card tutorial and I was itching to try it out. I created the base panel and made the spinner heart with cut apart from the paper pack.

Here is a video of the spinner card

Shaker card

The second card is a shaker card. I made two heart windows and created the shaker part on the front panel. I added few handmade flowers and die cuts to decorate the front panel.

The paper pack has cute little cut apart and I had to create something with them. So I made a simple pop up elements on the inside. And added the sentiment from the sheet.

Tag

I had scrap papers lying around and I thought that what better way to make use of them than making a tag? I cut a base measuring 3.5” x 5.5” and trimmed the scraps and added a doily scrap too!! I also added few fussy cut elements from the sheets.

Hope you liked mu creations. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time ....

Simple stepper card.

Hello,

I made a simple stepper card recently for Birthday. I used one of the Prima doll stamps which have been lying idle for quite some time.  The basic color theme I kept as pink.

I used 'Woodies' paper pack from Bob N Betty. This is pack is fabulous with lovely florals. I fussy cut few images and stuck on the back panel of the stepper.

I colored the Prima doll image with copics.  I added few handmade flowers and lace leaves from Papericious.

On the inner panel I added few fussy cut flowers and adhered them to a side pocket to hold a tag for personal message. I added the birthday message layered on a die cut panel.

Hope you liked my card.

Gifting made special

Hi crafty folks,

It is festival time and time for greeting and gifting. I made box cards, which can hold candles, sweets, dry fruits etc. The cards have tags for writing your personal messages.

I used Bob n Betty papers. The papers are gorgeous and quite thick. Easy to fussy cut the images. I used Papericious Sigma cardstock - 180 gsm for making flowers. I used Heartfelt Creations flower dies. Sit back and enjoy the pictures.

A basic method to make this card box: ( sorry I don't have any pictures to support)

For card:

Cardstock - 11inches by 7 inches.

Score on the 11 inch side at 5 inches and 6 inches. You will have a card base of size 7 inches by 5 inches with 1 inch depth.

Box Base:

Cardstock - 6 inches by 7.5 inches

Score at 3/4 of an inch on all four sides. Cut the score line on the shorter side along the dotted line as in the picture.

Crease the folds. Stick the tabs and adhere pattern paper.

Box cover

Cardstock - 6 1/16 inches x 7 9/16 (61/16 is one small division on Martha Stewart score board after 6" and 7 9/16 is one small division after 7 1/2")

Score 3/4 inches from all the sides and cut tabs as done for the box base. Cut a window before making the cover. Adhere an acetate sheet on the back side of the window.

Stick pattern paper on the card base. Adhere the box on the inside, leave 1/8 of inch gap from the score line so that there is no difficulty in closing the card. Embellish as you would like.

You can vary sizes of the box and card to any size. Hope the measurements were helpful. Don't forget to leave your comments below.

See you next time with more creations.

Till then..... Happy Crafting!
