Card with Dahlia Blossoms

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card I made with Altenew Dahlia blossoms. I have used Zig colors pens for coloring.
I stamped the image with Archival black ink. I masked the first image and stamped using the smaller flowers stamp. I stamped a few leaves also. After I finished coloring, I colored the background near the image with light grey zig color.

I added a few splatter of black and white paint. I added a few enamel dots too. The sentiment is from Beautiful Day stamp set.

Card with Altenew 'Adore You' stamp.

Hi there,

After a long time I am back with coloring, which I enjoy especially with Altenew stamps. So I got my hands on the 'Adore You' stamp set recently, (better late than never 😄) and used it for my card.

I planned to use my Zig color brush pens. so I stamped the image with Archival black ink onto a Canson watercolor paper. I masked and stamped the images.

I offset the panel and layered with mauve color cardstock and mounted it on the card base. The sentiment is from Altenew Oriental Orchid stamp set. I finished off with splatter of black color and few enamel dots.

Hope you liked my card. Linking this card to Altenew August Challenge.

Till next time Happy Crafting!

Special Anniversary card

Hi there,

Here is a card I made recently for a wedding anniversary, a gift from kids to their parents. I love interactive cards, So I made a twist and pop up card.

The card measures 6" x 6" and the pop up panels - 3.5" x 2.75". I have used Graphic 45 'Floral Shoppe' pattern paper.

I embellished the front panel with my handmade foamiran and paper flowers.

Is any project using G45 papers complete without fussy cutting? Lol.... few fussy cut elements on the front panel. I foiled the sentiment on the front with Minc machine. the glare on the gold foil is giving it a dark look.

On the inner panels, I added messages which were foiled with pink foil.

Hope you liked my card. Till I see you next time with another project - Happy crafting!!

Trifold baby album

Hello,

This is a late post since I was busy with shifting my house and settling down.
Today I am sharing a trifold album, as my DT project for ScrapMir. This my last DT project for them. I enjoyed creating all the projects with their amazing paper collections. It was really an honor to be part of the Design Team.

So here is my project:

I decorated the front panel with burlap and few scrap pieces from the paper pack. I added a chipboard frame and a tag which can be removed and the baby's picture can be added. I embellished with flair buttons and epoxy stickers. I finally added a few handmade foamiran flowers.

Fussy few images and made a pocket with tags for journalling.

The album has three folds to hold pictures and tags for journalling. I am sharing a video of the album.

Hope you liked my project. Do leave some love in the comments below. Till next time

Happy Crafting!!

Simple Flowers - DT post for Scrap Mir

Hello,

Today I am sharing two projects I made for ScrapMir using their beautiful Paper pack - 'Simple Flowers'

The first project is a layout using the 8x8 paper pack.

I distressed the edges of my base layer and created texture using Heavy Gesso from Prima and Tim Holtz Harlequin stencil. I created layers with the pattern paper and used the chipboard frames to create a diagonal pattern.

I printed a quote and used that as the focal image. I used only the doodle flower die cuts that comes in the die cuts pack. I added some flair buttons and enamel dots from my stash.

The second project is a box frame.

I created a box frame with a 12x 12 paper from another paper pack - 'Charming'.
I used one of the paper from 'Simple Flowers' to line the inside of the frame.

I printed a sentiment and used the golden chipboard frame to highlight it and stuck it inside. I added foam tape to create dimension. I used the coloured flowers in the die cuts pack to embellish the frame. I stuck a thread at the back and the small box frame was ready as a home decor wall hanging!

Hope you liked my projects. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy crafting!!

Whimsical Wonders.... DT post for Conie Fong

Hello,

It is a long time since I colored and my DT post for Conie Fong was long pending. Change of residence, settling down had me occupied and now I am back to my crafting and today I have used one of the images from the set 'Crystal Fairy'. I have used the image without crystals.

I have always loved stories about fairies and goblins. When as a kid, I was always immersed in such whimsical and mystical stories and even used to fantasize meeting them. Dark forests, small fairies with glittering wings and magical dust, making our dreams come true....... I read somewhere "Sometimes we need to survive the reality". How true! So let me get to reality and share how I created my project 😃

I colored the image with copic markers and used Polychromos pencils for some shading. I lightly gave a background shading with Distress inks.

I created a Mixed Media Layout using the image. I have used Stamperia Papers 'Dream'. I added some stencilling and stamping in the background and used a few layers of papers. I also added a few chipboards embellishments and diecuts. I glued few sequins since a fairy is all glitter and magical. I cut a sentiment from the paper pack and adhered it with foam tape.

I finally added my handmade foamiran flowers and few butterflies which I fussy cut from some of the pattern papers in my stash.

Here is the final layout:

Hope you liked my Layout. Thank you for stopping by. Till next time - Happy Crafting!!
